The alcove itself contains several armor stands, weapon racks, and a wooden chest, all of which still hold dust-caked but perfectly functional suits of armor and weapons, and a few magic items. The secret alcove to the south is where the guards kept supplies for use in case of emergencies-ironically, when the riot took place, events proceeded so quickly that none of the guards were able to reach these supplies in time to avert the horrific doom that awaited them all. It is a very difficult lock, but they are both able to get in on the first try - and quickly - at that - as it only takes 2 rounds! Wren gathers the group together to use his careful teamwork ability again before looking to assist Marius with finding a way to open the secret door. and there is a large secret door to the south. It converts all mechanics, dungeons, monsters, NPCs, and items and also seeks to solve some of the larger issues that weren’t addressed in the original, many of which were pointed out by fans throughout the years and by the developers themselves.It takes 48 minutes to do a full and complete search of this room. This is my conversion of the Pathfinder adventure to D&D 5. From here things quickly spiral out of control and the players get wrapped up in investigating the history of the town and encountering the spirits that haunt it. In this adventure designed for three to four characters starting at level 1, players come to a town with a dark history in order to bury an old ally.
